Fertility: It's important that sperm contacts the egg when it can be fertilized. It is not critical to have intercourse on a specific day. In general, having intercourse every other day or more frequently around the time of ovulation will give you the best chance for pregnancy. It's important to remember, and remind your partner, that you're having sex only to become pregnant.
