A member asked:

My child feels sick at her stomach often. no fever. health checkup next month. any advice?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Talk to your doctor: Keep a "stomach ache diary". Write down when your child has her stomach aches, whether there are other symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, or fever. Note any associated events- just after eating or a certain time of day, any specific diet changes, what helps and what makes it worse, additional stresses, etc. Take it to the doctor so she can see the pattern clearly.
