Magnesium is otc: Magnesium is available in a health food store for much less money that in a pharmacy. Do not get magnesium oxalate or sulfate or citrate if you want to increase magneisum levels for heart. The soluble magnesium is needed for that purpose. The others will cause increased bowel movements or diarrhea.
