Persistent fever: The key question is whether there are any other symptoms besides fever. In general fever lasting a month should be evaluated. Consider (beyond the usual infections) mononucleosis, lyme disease, hiv, certain fungal infections (histoplasmosis, coccioidomycosis), lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, medication reaction, tumors (like lymphoma, leukemia), hyperthyroidism, and autoimmune disorders.

Allergies?: The simple response would be allergies but firat to know what is her temp and is she a mouth breather when she sleeps mold exposure irritant all have to be looked at. Make she cultures for thing other than strep have been done and get rid of chemical irritants, and don't smoke if doing so quit.
