A member asked:

How coffee pharmacologically affects my mood?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Too many variables: Too many variables are involved, such as how many cups of coffee, how much caffeine is in each cup, how much time is one talking about, is one new to coffee or a daily drinker, does one have problems handling caffeine, how much cream is in the coffee, how much sugar is there, etc... Caffeine will temporarily make one more awake, but he'll not sleep well, so it can cause both better or worse mood.
