Possibly : When using an oral hormone based pill, the penicillin or tetracycline class of antibiotics may change how the contraceptive is absorbed, lowering blood levels and increasing the risk of pregnancy or break through bleeding. Do not stop using the oc, but use a backup form of birth control until the antibiotic course is complete and you're on your next pack.

AVA and antibiotics: Antibiotics can affect the absorption and metabolism of pill and reduce the effectiveness. Its better to use condoms while on antibiotics and for few days after stopping antibiotics as well.
