No need to worry: Check a preg test. If it is neg, the brown discharge may just be a late period. If it is positive or if this is a recurring issue, see your gynecologist.

Probably not: Blood will turn brown when it is exposed to air for a while, so this probably represent a very small amount of bleeding that has not become apparent right away. If you don't have a normal period for another month or if you are otherwise just not feeling well, you should get checked.
