Topicals or laser: This a common skin challenge and likely melasma which often appears after child birth or other estrogen fluctuation. Topical lotions containing hydroquinone are the most effective in my experience and are available by prescription from your dermatologist or skin care specialist. Light based therapies including fractional laser resurfacing can be effective as well.
