A member asked:

What are symptoms of having a displaced meniscus? besides. swelling please explain

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pain, knee giving --: Way under (or buckling under), inability to straighten knee, clicking/popping, tenderness over the affected site. Since these meniscal tears do not heal, arthroscopic surgery with removal of the torn part of the meniscus would be worthwhile & to rid of the acute symptoms you are having. See your orthopod..
