Count from your LMP: We calculate how far pregnant you are from the first day of your last normal period. You can use a calendar to count this yourself. This calculation assumes that your menstrual cycle is regular and starts every 28 days. If your cycle is irregular or not 28 days apart it affects the calculation. See your obstetrician for a complete evaluation.

I had my period on April 9th. My periods are fairly irregular by a week or so. My ultrasounds measure two weeks behind my LMP due date. I've had one done at 5WKS (too small to tell), 6WKS5DYS, & 19WKS. They all gave me the same due date by except 2 days.
