Ihad a mole excised a month ago. some redness that looks like dry skin makes up the outline where the bandage was. what's the best way to clear it up?

Try this: Hydrocortisone 0.5% twice per day to red area. See a the doctor who removed the mole if this does not clear it up a 3-4 days.

Irritation: This could be reaction to adhesive from the bandage. You could be allergic to adhesive. You should see the doctor who removed mole to be evaluated. If it is allergic reaction, cortisone could improve it.

Rash: The dermatitis or rash from the bandaid may be treated with otc Hydrocortisone for a few days . Any actual adhesive may be removed with rubbing alcohol applied to a wash cloth.
