Yes, but . . . : Don't assume it is a UTI still even though that is a definite possibility. Other conditions or infections within the abdomen could cause similar symptoms, so you need to be checked.

Yes: If you're still having symptoms get your urine checked by your primary care doc and get a culture to make sure you get the correct medication to completely kill the bacteria. Make sure you finish the entire prescription and take a good quality probiotic 2 x daily while you are on the antibiotics to protect your vital intestinal bacteria. This will minimize recurrences in the future!
