Yes if...: If you are taking your pill everyday, then yes you are protected against pregnancy. The pill prevents your ovaries from releasing an egg. It can also help regulate your periods. It is common to experience some irregularities at the start of taking bc pills. If problems persist, ask your doctor to switch the script to another formulation.
