A member asked:

I think i have fordyce spots. is there a test to see what it is?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Fordyce spots: Fordyce spots are tiny yellowish or white papules on lips and genitals. They are ectopic (out of normal place) but normal in structure oil glands. They are harmless. A dermatologist can usually tell by examining the affected area, however, the only certain test is a skin biopsy. They look pretty different from genital warts, but if there is a concern, please have the area evaluated by dermatology.
