Time and amount: A single dose of marijuana is detected for 1-7 days in urine, marijuana detection time based on usage usage at 1 time only 5-8 days usage at 2-4 times per month 11-18 days usage at 2-4 times per week 23-35 days usage at 5-6 times per week 33-48 days daily usage 49-63 days.

Maybe...: Assuming it is a urine test which is most common, and your friend is not a regular user, then thc is usually eliminated within 13 days, however, if a habitual user, the metabolite is stored in fat and slowly released and can be positive for 45-90 days.
