Somewhat and....: Yes, it does work. There are some limitations & it does not work as well as professional whitening methods that your dentist can use. Consult your own dentist first. If you have cavities, gum problems, erosions, composite fillings, crowns, etc. You need to have healthy teeth & gums first and know that whitening methods do not whiten any restorations. Ask your dentist what is best for you!

Yes: I personally use the 3d products and have gotten nice results. Best results are obtained if you use the 3d professional effects strips in combination with the mouthwash and the toothpaste. These products are less powerful and slower acting than some dentist administered bleaching systems i find the most powerful dentist administered system is the kor bleaching system.

They can be: They can work if you have a lot of extrinsic staining. It is much less effective for intrinsic staining. It is fairly inexpensive compared to other whitening provided by your dentist. Even if it is not effective enough for you, you might still get help from your dentist.
