Strange: Polyps are not normally treated with antibiotics. The cough may indicate an infection which would explain the antibiotics. Since you already have a doc on the case, that's the best person to ask about your concerns. Meanwhile, i definitely recommend that you work on stopping smoking. This is the single best thing you can do for your voice, heart, lungs and overall health.
