Yes: Estrogen replacement can affect TSH levels in way similar to oral contraceptives and pregnancy, by increasing the need for more thyroid hormone production. This can result in high TSH levels indicating that you have underlying primary hypothyroidism or if you are already on thyroid hormone, that you need more. There is no need to stop hrt, just adjust the dose of thyroid hormone.
