Be safe: Alcohol in moderation isn't a problem if you have simple diverticulosis. You do need a heads up that if it is causing you trouble with diverticula getting infected, it can be a little rough on your liver itself. Exercise the same caution you'd use drinking while taking Ibuprofen or after running a marathon.
