Answer: With proper treatment, early RA has pretty good prognosis (that is, with no permanent joint damage).

Most: If diagnosis is accurate, most patients should go into remission within 6 months. Due to availability of many great medications to treat ra, this diagnosis should not lead to any permanent damage if treated early and appropriately.
