Possibly: Polycystic ovarian syndrome includes irregular or absent ovulation: skipping periods and episodes of abnormal prolonged bleeding may indicate problems with ovulation. Your gynecologist can do hormone blood tests and consider a pelvic ultrasound to further evaluate for pcos/pcod.

Maybe: There are several factors that affect menses including meds, stress, body size, etc. This could be pcos but could be normal ... Recommend eval by md.
