I've had intermittent sore throat for about a year. same spot, can come and go within hours. definitely not post nasal drip no inflammation seen.?

Throat red spot: Any persistent red spot of the throat particularly in association with a history of tobacco use should be fully evaluated including an assessment of the regional lymph nodes. A biopsy may be warranted. Seek evaluation by your primary care physician or an ENT specialist.
