Probably not : These are probably taste buds. They may have become irritated due to salty or spicy foods. If they become painful or feel large for longer than 4 days, consider seeing your dentist or doctor to rule out infection.

Usually normal: Large bumps on the back of the tongue are normal, provided they are not painful, bleeding or oozing. Everyone has what are called 'circumvallate papillae" on the back area of their tongue. Next time you are at the dentist, just have them take a peek.
