Interventionalist: Visit an interventional pain doctor. If you do have degeneratie disc disease, epidural steroid injection may keep you going for a while.

Spine Pain Options: This chronic pain in the distribution as you suggested is the result of an irritated nerve or facet joints or other injury typically in the lumbar spine (low back) which are caused by herniated disks, spinal stenosis or degenerative disc disease, etc requiring further evaluation by a spine specialist and may be candidate for facet injections/radiofrequency ablation and epidural steroid injection.

A para central disk protrusion at L5-S1. Moderate to severe back pain &sciatica. Epidurals, facet blocks etc..Nothing helps.Surgeon says not surgical.

If MRI doesn't show cause of foot drop (l5s1 protusion)and emg doesn't show nerve issue and you have back and sciatica pain, could MS be a possibility?
