Immunosuppresion: Recurrent thrush can indicate that you are immunocompromised. You need to discuss this with your primary care doctor so that the appropriate testing and workup can be done.

See Doctor: Unless you have had to take antibiotics for long periods of time, the most common reason for repeated bouts of thrush are either an immune system problem or the candidiasis is not being controlled with the medication you are using to treat it. In either case your dentist or md may be able to help you identify the cause and clear it up.
