What are some of the things to do when you have your thyroid removed?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Make sure there's: A reason for it to be removed. If there is, then you'll need life long brand name T4 replacement. Make sure your levels are kept at normal. Also check your calcium to make sure the parathyroid glands weren't damaged by the surgery.
