Look in the mirror..: Jaundice is caused by elevation of bilirubin pigment in the blood. When it reaches critical levels it starts to discolor the whites of the eyes, urine and finally skin a yellow color. The urine turns dark like "tea". Sometimes it causes a diffuse itch without rash before skin discoloration becomes evident. If you think you are jaundice, see a doctor asap. Good luck!
