No: I would not recommend it. You are probably on a pain med and possible antibiotic. Alcohol is contra indicated. Plus alcohol will tax your immune system and retard your healing.

Yes unless .....: Yes unless you are having any difficult symptoms such as swelling or pain. These could be signs that you are still fighting a residual infection and it would be better to wait on alcohol.

Wait 48h: According to the American Endodontic Society, you must avoid alcoholic beverages 48 hours after the root canal therapy. You must not smoke for 72 hours after the treatment. You should must drink 6 to 8 glasses of water each day. Hope it helps.
