How long does it take for your stomach to digest milk?

About 4 hours: Most food in our stomach moves down into the intestine in 3 to 6 hours. Foods that contain fat are digested slower than those @ carbohydrates. Milk has varying amounts of fat...So if it is low fat milk, then 3-4 hours but if it is full fat milk (regular milk is 4% fat) it may take 4-6 hours to leave the stomach. Much of the digestion takes place lower down in the small intestine over 12-18 hours.

2 hours: Milk contains carbs, protein and fat. Each macronutrient empties from the stomach at a different rate. I'd expect a glass of milk to be through the stomach within two hours. The rate of emptying is slower with higher fat concentration. Good luck!

Stomach to digest: The half life of a solid is about 4 hours the half life of liquids is less a big glass of milk should probably be out of your stomach in under four hours everyone is different though.
