How many?: There is no problem drinking beer or wine after colon resection, but the issue is how much? Anything more than 2 a day is going to harm you eventually.

Love this question!: As someone who likes a cold beer now and then also it's probably ok once you are off all pain medicine and your bowel function has returned back to normal as well. If done for cancer make sure you aren't taking any chemo drugs as well!
