Ritalin (methylphenidate): Ritalin (methylphenidate) does not deplete Dopamine per se. It does "streamline" the production of noradrenaline by regulating the reuptake of Dopamine at the synaptic junction, therefore allowing more Dopamine and noradrenaline exposure to the neuron, which is stimulated. Wellbutrin (bupropion) (buproprion) does the same for serotonin and dopamine, therefore potentiating the effect of both.
