2B on the Safe Side: ...Get this checked out by ur primary care doc, if u haven't already! i always advise my patients 2get checked over when they're having physical symptoms.>> assuming what u experienced is related 2 anxiety or panic, i'd 1st recommend researching these conditions. (e.g. See http://www.Anxietybc.Org) it's not uncommon for someone who's had a panic attack 2start dreading having another one!

Anxiety: Most likely anxiety. However, pending family history and your risk factors, i would still recommend basic labs, ecg, stress test and echocardiogram. With palpitations, a 24 hour holter monitor maybe needed too. Anxiety won't kill you, but underlying cardiac disease can.
