It can aggravate it: In general any kind of alcohol intake can aggravate palpitations. Although small amounts (1 standard drink) is considered ok, but it can still aggravate palpitations. Greater intake of alcohol can trigger more serious arrythmias. It is better to avoid alcohol.

Maybe?: There are electrical properties of heart tissue that change in response to drinking, as well as the body's overall levels of adrenaline (what we call catecholamines). It's rather common for people to trigger atrial fibrillation by binges of drinking. Depending on their mechanisms, premature beats can be similarly triggered. If you find that you have more when you drink, you have your answer.
