A member asked:

What causes frequent headaches, short term memory loss, occasional dificulty talking, and the inability to think, (almost as if my brain shuts off)?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Anxiety and headache: Anxiety often causes neck muscles to tighten. These muscles insert on the back of the head and cause tension migraines. These headaches frequently worsen as the day progresses. The can cause difficulty with concentration which in turn leads to problems with memory or even speech.
