Was discharged from dr.i am dosing at 150 mg methadone daily.was giving a script of 1 10mg 4 times daily.how bad is this ?

BAD: It appears that your doctor was prescribing a total of 40mg/ day, but you were taking 150mg / day, more than triple the dosage, this is an unacceptable and dangerous deviation from treatment plan. This is grounds for termination of care. I am not aware of any treatment protocol or a doctor who will allow his patient to "play" with their medication the way you describe . Get serious and comply.
