Yes: Typically, Amitriptyline withdrawal includes symptoms that are the opposite of the side effects it usually causes. Expect some abdominal cramping, loose stools and maybe some insomnia if you were using it to help you sleep. It should be tapered if you were on a large dose. Please do this under a doctor's care. If you were using it for depression, there is no guarantee the depression won't return.
