Consult doctor: There could be many reasons from being a mouth breather to diet to side effects of medication. You should get an evaluation as dry mouth is not only annoying but it is also ideal situation for cavities to grow.

Medicine or disease: A dry mouth may be related to multiple or specific medications, such as blood pressure meds. There are some diseases that can cause it--see a physician soon. Smokers have higher incidence of dry mouth. A diet high in sodium can be a cause.
