Clobex alternatives: I'm not sure if there are any natural alternatives, however there are several nonprescription products. Shampoos with salicylic acid, tar, zinc, selenium sulfide, and/or ketoconazole can help. Scalpicin, regular or maximum strength, can help also. The maximum strength contains 1% hydrocortisone, a steroid/cortisone much weaker than clobex lotion. P & s liquid can help remove thick scales.
