Ovulation detection: The position of the cervix is not related to ovulation. You can detect ovulation in several ways: basal body temperature charting, urinary ovulation predictor kits, and, with your physician, by doing hormone tests or ultrasounds.

I am a virgin and have not had sex or semen contact. I checked cervical position and mucus around ovulation with hand that wasnt washed. It was dry and had no visible particles. Can touching a cervix without washing hands first lead to pregnancy?
