A member asked:

My child just got her 18 month vacinations yesterday and she has a large red bump that is sour. is this bad? what should i do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

VACCINE REACTION: Live vaccines given to kids sometimes have a painful swelling reaction. Moms are told to put cold compress to the area and advil or tylenol (acetaminophen) for pain. Don't worry it will go away.
