Lost Tampons: Only if there is a foul oder, blood or other significant discharge or pain. Otherwise you should be fine.

Is it out?: Usually after removing a forgotten tampon there is a ton of discharge and very foul odor. Vaginal infections are usually present. If you are sure it is out and you do not have foul odor, discharge, fever, abdominal pain or spotting then a visit may not be needed.
