Oy! Juice is a very : Sugary liquid that's not needed by infants & should be limited to 4 oz./day when given to a toddler from a cup. If you sweeten formula for an neurotypical 6-mo.-old, it'll become a learned behavior (habit) that will be hard to break. Please see your pediatrician about this. Formulas also contain sugar, so wipe out his mouth before putting him in his crib, drowsy but awake, to fall asleep.

Not a good idea: Vanilla extract usually has enough ethyl alcohol to cause problems with a babies system.(low blood sugar) i equate all juices to mini-colas due to their high sugar content. They need neither, and mashed fruit gives them more nutrients. If your kid doesn't like the formula, try another or work with the pediatrician to find some healthy ways to meet babies needs.
