A member asked:

How rare is tubal cancer called stic and what are the most common treatments ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not a lot of data...: Stic (serous tubal intraepithelial carcinoma) is a relatively new diagnostic concept in pathology hypothesized as one of the earliest precursors of ovarian serous carcinoma. The diagnosis is rare, but becoming more common as pathologists are more aware and looking harder for it. Not a lot of data about optimal treatment, consider being part of a clinical trial to help discover best therapy.
