A member asked:

What is the cancer treatment called "insulin potential therapy"?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

IPT with chemo.: Apparently, this is the combination of low dose chemotherapy, with Insulin targeted at cancer cells. Cancer cells have many more receptors for Insulin and insulin-like growth factor (igf) than normal cells, and Insulin is used to get more chemotherapy drugs into these cells. They die, and less chemo. Is used and so there is less side effects. So this uses a cancer cell's "advantage" to kill it.
