Labyrithitis or: Meniere's disease is when you have inflammation of your semi-circular canals in the inner ear that maintain your sense of balance. It manifests as vertigo and nausea, much like motion sickness. Initial treatment is antihistamines, but it can become chronic and disabling if you don't treat it promptly.
