Difference between dengue fever and dengue hemorrhagic fever?

Quite similar: Both conditions are caused by dengue virus. One is a milder form but the second one is more serious due to development of very low platelet counts which can lead to bleeding(that is why it is called hemorragic) and occasional fatalities due to shock(fluid leaks) or bleeding.
