A member asked:

Is there a cure for blocked falopian tubes...what success rate in reopening by surgery?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Blocked tubes: If there is a relatively simple cause for tubal blockage, such as scarring where the tubes join the uterus, they can be opened by passing a catheter through the blockage or by surgery. If the tubes are badly damaged, for example as a result of infection, surgery can be done to open them, but the pregnancy chances are poor. It the tubes are severely damaged , ivf has the best chance of pregnancy.
