Good parenting: You cannot stay awake 24 hours a day to watch your baby. You can remember to lay the baby on his or her back when putting to bed. Make sure blankets are not too excessive or fluffy, and be careful of the quality of bedding. Good ventiliation in the bedroom and a normal temperature is also important- not too hot or too cold.
