It is 40 weeks from: The first day of your last period until your due date, the ideal time to deliver as shown by a large recent study is 39-40 weeks gestation, my advice to u is, do not go past your due date- not worth taking a chance something bad could happen to the baby, all of my patients are delivered by 40 weeks and they want to be !
