HIV is hard to get: I am very unsure where you are coming from on your question. Strep throats are very common, especially in the winter. They are not in any way indicative of a weakened immune system. There is absolutely no diagnostic connection in your question. If you have not tested yet, it is past time to test for HIV infection from your unprotected sexual encounter.

No: Strep throat would have come sooner if it were related to that sex that long ago. But, strep could cause a break in the skin to enter the body.
